• At the start of London in 43 BCE London linked eastern and western England at the Thames River. it was a busy place for trade and traders. It became a port of 30,000 people and had good access to the North sea and the English Channel. Even today it is a place with lots of trade.

Ideas
• In the 19 century many immigrants came to London from other parts of Europe like France and Germany and brought some of their ideas and culture with them causing CULTURAL DIFFUSION. So today London is known as a “multiethnic” city where many different cultures have come to the same city.
